Dior case study: +22% size tool completion rate

Crafting Precision in Luxury Fashion eCommerce
Dior, a name that epitomizes luxury and elegance, sought to refine its online customer journey to match the bespoke service offered in their boutiques. The apparel and footwear sizing tool was underused, underperforming, and contributing to high return rates. Our goal was to simplify, clarify, and increase usage, without compromising on visual brand integrity.
What changed after the redesign.
The impact of the redesign was immediate and measurable:
size tool completion rate
Reduced return rates

Four reasons people gave up on the old tool.
We audited the existing Find My Size tool end to end. It was too long, with no sign of how much was left. It gave one size only, so there was nothing to compare or trust. The UI didn’t look like Dior. And the instructions and buttons didn’t tell anyone what to do next.

Clear steps, more than one size, fit feedback built in.
We rebuilt the tool around clear steps and visible progress, so nobody wonders how much is left. Every instruction, button, error and tooltip was rewritten. Results now show more than one size, with fit feedback based on body shape. Forms ask for less and work properly on mobile. Recommendations are localised, so international sizing can be trusted.

What this delivered.
The impact of the redesign was immediate and measurable: 22% Increase in Completion Rates: The new tool's intuitive design and clear guidance significantly improved user engagement and completion rates. Reduced Return Rates: With more accurate size recommendations, customers were more satisfied with their purchases, resulting in fewer returns. Enhanced Customer Trust and Brand Loyalty: The improved experience strengthened Dior’s digital presence, aligning it closely with the brand's luxury reputation. By transforming the sizing tool into a seamless and intuitive experience, we helped Dior achieve a digital transformation that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of its discerning clientele.
